Dr. Ghanshyam Singh Postgraduate College is located in Soyepur. About half kilometre east of the Soyepur,the birthplace of emperor novalist Munshi Premchand, On the Varanasi Azamgarh highway, just two kilometre away from Pandeypur.Honorable Dr. Ghanshyam Singh (Former Vice President,Science Faculty, U.P. College,Varanasi) was a self-respecting, self-reliant, disciplined, talented, and soft spoken person born in Varanasi on September 1934. Dr. Sahab's dream was to create a modern facility for the development of high quality education.Physical and mental development in the field of education but unfortunately the dream was not fulfilled and Dr. Sahab on 3 November 1985 Dissolved in the five element. Inspired by the views of the Dr, sahab his son Shri Nageshwar Singh laid the foundation stone of this institution in 1999 for the purpose of converting his incomplete dreams. Since then, the college has continued progressive in the field of education.
